Source Of
Knowledge: THE EYES OF SPHINX (1996)
Author:
ERICH VON DANIKEN (Switzerland)
One of the
strangest effect mankind has ever known, whether scientific or magic, is
nothing else than our cute little pyramid effect.
I first came across it during my high school
(when some of my friends said it to me) but what I considered mere tech myth
actually got a strong hold over me through Daniken’s book ‘the eyes of the sphinx’.
All the ideas about this particular phenomenon I am going to explain henceforth
are inspired by his works.
Let’s begin
from its discovery (which sounds like a fairy tale itself!)
During a
trip to Egypt, a French hardware store owner, Antoine Bovis sighted a tiny
desert mouse lying dead on the floor of king’s chamber in the great pyramid of
Giza.
To his
surprise (and horror!)He found the mouse light as feather, shrunk, mummified
and preserved. What the hell???
Out of curiosity, he returned home and constructed
a mini pyramid structure out of iron bars and wood. He then arranged his
structure in the north-south direction (just like the great pyramid) he placed
a small wooden podium inside it and placed a large chunk of beef in it. Even
after weeks, the beef didn’t decay. It was instead drawn out of fluids, virtually
mummified.
Regarding
the preservation, let’s say the perfect pyramid acted as a vacuum sealed
container, cutting out microbes. Why the mummification???
Now let’s
take a trip to Czech Republic from France.
Karl Drbal,
a Czech radio engineer came across the pyramid effect described by Bovis. He re-experimented
the effect using eatables always ending up successful.
Now what
about something non-living. He checked it out with a used razor blade. 24 hours
later, he found it more sharpened. He shaved with it again and again retried
the exp. all in all he used the same blade for full 50 days with the same hell
of a result.
What now?
Apply for a patent? Sure. Go for it. Yahoooo! Got it. Czech patent number
93304[what about it’s cause, didn’t the Czech patent suppliers ask for it?]
Since then
the razor blade exp has been repeated at least a million times, always for the
same result.
Point to be noted:
only works when aligned in the north–south direction
Moving on to
Wuppertal, Germany, Mrs. Elka, a 26 year old amateur painter enjoyed creating
miniature oil paintings of 5 cm width. After completing one of her paintings, he
positioned it on delicate pedestal inside a 28 cm high pyramid. She was not
experimenting our effect. Just fun. One week later, to her horror, the moon had
dripped from the sky, paint of the wooden roof had become crusty and cat’s tail
just disappeared. Wow! Pyramid paintings!
From
Wuppertal to Hamburg, another German tale speaks of two spoons of honey in a
bowl placed in a Plexiglas pyramid hardened into a solid lump, just like wax.
During a house cleaning chore, the pyramid was unseated from its N-S alignment,
once again filling the bowl with flowing honey 6 days later.
Maybe this
could explain the tears of Saint Januarius in the cathedral of Napoli which
flows MAGICALLY every year.
Across the German
border, in Austria, Gerhard leiner constructed a model pyramid out of card
board. Inside the N-S aligned pyramid, he placed a 7 days old chicken egg, weighing
60.2gm. Another one was kept outside the pyramid in the same pyramid in the
same room with a temp of 190C .400 days later, the egg inside the
pyramid lost 58.8% of its weight but the yolk was yellow, smell was all right and
the egg was edible. The control egg kept outside the pyramid was reeking like
hell!
Many others
experimented with vegetables, fruits and even nuts, which always ended up being
fresher than when they actually went inside it.
Magic?
Miracle? Divine intervention? Super human technology? Gift of an alien race?
Simple science? Pure Pythagorean mathematics?
If not for
any of these why doesn’t every cubes, sphere, cylinders and other geometric
brothers of pyramid show similar effects?
And now the million
dollar question: how the hell did ancient Egyptians of great pyramids time
learn about it? Advanced than our own advancements? No prejudice-maybe.

If not for
the knowledge of the pyramid effect, why only use a pyramid for safekeeping pharaoh’s
remains? Why can’t the world wonder of Giza and many other contemporary pharaoh
restrooms be cubical or cylindrical shaped? I would have preferred a giant hollow
sphere to house my sarcophagi (if I ever was a king) than a pyramid.
Personally,
I would go with Daniken. some kind of an extra terrestrial contact, a extra
human helping hands with full knowledge of the effect (like something of Arnold’s
PREDATOR or it’s sequel ALIEN V/S PREDATOR). if you have time to spare, try experimenting
the effect. If you don’t have the patience to wait for days, weeks, go for a
razor blade. It works very fast-within a day or two. At least it does for me!)
And don’t forget
(if possible) to read the book. It is an excellent conspiracy theory, around 15
USD. That’s all.
